Temple for November

I just wanted to let you know that ward temple night is Friday November 13th, the 8pm session.

The Relief Society is also having a Temple trip on Friday November 20th, 7:30 session.  We are meeting at Arlington Highlands at 6pm by Borders if you want to carpool.  We will be going back to Highlands and having dessert at Red Robin at 10pm.  It should be a fun night!

Cooking Group- November

We are having our cooking group in 2 parts this month. We are making gingerbread houses, from scratch people. I know, can you believe it! B will be teaching us and she is fantastic. She has been making gingerbread houses for a long time and at one point she sold them for lots of money. In the 1st session on Thursday November 12 at B’s house, we will be learning how to make the dough and prepare it. There will be recipes and templates handed out that night. She has templates for the large house and the small ones too. The homework for that session is going to be to go home and make your house. All you have to do if bake your house and cut them out. In the next session on Thursday November 19 at 7pm at the church, B will be helping us to assemble and decorate our houses. She said that as long as there are some parts of the house she can fix anything. Don’t worry if you house doesn’t look perfect, she really can fix anything. There will be a small fee associated with the 2nd session since we will be providing all the candy and frosting that you will need. If you can’t make it to both sessions just contact us
